Sustainable agriculture and rural life in Villacarmelo Cali

1. Description

This internship in Villacarmelo offers an immersion in community and sustainable practices. Over the course of 7 hours, participants will learn about the organic and collaborative cultivation of the inhabitants, explore orchards, rivers and natural landscapes, discovering the artisanal coffee process.

The experience includes visits to self-sufficient farms, highlighting the connection to the land and organic farming methods. Hosts will share their wisdom, encouraging the exchange of ideas.

The day culminates with a coffee tasting and a tour of its production, experiencing the essence of Villacarmelo and its respect for nature.
Places to visit: Double Spiral Theme Park.

2. What to bring?

Sunscreen (eco-friendly) during the outdoor tour.
Water for hydration (single-use plastic is not allowed, preferably thermos)
. Suitable walking shoes.
Cap or hat. Bathing Suit, Change of clothes. Waterproof in case of rain.
Eco-friendly insect repellent.
Report allergies or medical conditions.
Report any discomfort during the expedition.

3. Important notes

The forms of payment will be agreed with the initial deposit and in accordance with the adhesion contract (Form 068).
Comply with the biosecurity protocols determined by each of the suppliers; any non-compliance may result in different penalties applicable to each passenger.
The minimum number of people for this program is twelve (12).
The agency is not responsible for unforeseen events that may occur due to natural disasters, public disturbances, etc., which may force a change in the program.
If for any reason you are unable to travel (even if it is due to force majeure) you must sell or transfer your space to another person and assume penalties if applicable because there is no refund, since the agency must pay for the services in advance.
