The 13-hour adventure in the San Cipriano Natural Reserve, located 2.5 hours from Cali, begins with a 30-minute ride in a “brujita”, a transport on balineras that travels along the railroad track, crossing tunnels, bridges and an exuberant rainforest.
Upon arrival at the Nature Reserve, visitors will be greeted by a vibrant Afro-descendant community, full of life, restaurants and local commerce. After a typical breakfast, they will hike through nature trails to the Refugio del Amor, where they can relax in a natural pool next to a waterfall.
If river conditions permit, visitors can gotubing down the river while contemplating the beautiful scenery. The day culminates with a typical Pacific lunch, enjoying the authentic flavors of the region.
Meeting point: Parque Panamericano (de las Banderas)
